FREE admission for 12 months is included in your ticket. Return visits are available for all members of your original party, but tickets are not transferable. You must bring your original ticket and ID with you. You can book your return visit here.

*We require all children (up to and including age 16) visiting JORVIK Viking Centre to be accompanied by an adult. For health and safety reasons, 1 adult may accompany up to 5 children. This is because the capsules on our ride seat up to 6 people. If your party has more than 6 people, we would need to split you over several capsules, and we need an adult to supervise each capsule.
**Student rates apply to any student with a valid ID card.
***Maximum of 2 adults per family ticket.

Our Pastport ticket gives you entry to some of the best city-centre attractions in York including JORVIK Viking Centre, Barley Hall and DIG.

Gift Aid
Your payment will be treated as an admission donation that entitles you and your family group to 12 months free admission from the date of visit
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can help us further by turning your donation into a Gift Aid donation at no extra cost to you, which allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you spend from the Government.
Please note this only applies to individual and family tickets, not larger groups.

York Archaeology Attractions Gift Vouchers
Looking for a gift for a friend or family member? You can purchase a gift voucher on our website.
How to use gift vouchers:
Give the gift of history with a York Archaeology Attractions Gift Voucher.
- Purchase and delivery: Select the amount you wish to purchase, enter the recipient’s name, and optionally add a personal message. The voucher will be delivered by email to address you provide at checkout – either yours or the recipient’s.
- Validity: Voucher’s are valid 12 months from the date or purchase. Most attraction tickets are valid for 12 months from first use, while event tickets are valid for the specific event only.
- Redeeming vouchers: The recipient can redeem their voucher by adding tickets to their basket and entering the voucher code at checkout. Vouchers must be redeemed online in advance and cannot be used to purchase tickets over the phone or at the door. Please note that vouchers are not eligible for Gift Aid.
- Non-refundable: Vouchers and any tickets purchased with them are non-refundable.
- Scope: These vouchers can be used for tickets to York Archaeology attractions and events only.
